"One of the best pool halls I’ve been to and certainly THE best pool hall in the Madison area (and beyond). Amazing service. Amazing food. Excellent pool rates. What owner Larry Walsh has created in The Brass Ring is a true service to Madison and the sport of billiards for casual players to experienced players, and everyone in between. The menu is full of great appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, and salads. The bartending is impeccable — I go there to play pool during the day and Emily and company always welcome everyone with smiles. I’ve heard great things about trivia nights as well but I go there during the day for lunch and time on the table. You don’t get much better than The Brass Ring. Come for the relaxing daytime pool sessions and lunch (tables are more open during the day) or the vibrant night life for dinner, apps, drinks, and a little pool or shuffleboard with your friends. Great for date lunches and nights as well."

"The Onion rings were some of the best I've had in a long time. The staff did their best to keep up with the hungry and thirsty packer playoff game crowd. I could tell one of the bartenders was new and another was teaching him. they all did a good job of taking care of us and we're so glad we chose the brass ring for our outing! the cocktails were great! Love the pool hall atmosphere with real full size tables!"
"Came here this Friday night to play pool with some friends for a birthday. Had a ton of fun playing shuffleboard while waiting for a pool table. The equipment is well maintained and they have full pool table sizes. There are ~9 tables available for play. The cocktail menu is very yummy! I had the Raspberry Lemon drink and the Pineapple Cherry Daiquiri, which were both delicious. The bartenders were very lovely as well."
