"Solid vegan place well worth trying in Madison. Though there's nothing wrong with it, I would say that it's not my favorite place in the area, for reasons that you might completely disagree with. They're taking more of a natural approach to cheese sauces in particular, making several dishes (like the nachos) have a sort of odd texture and flavor (to me). Of course, vegan cheeses leave a lot to be desired in general, so until a more realistic and tasty alternative appears that appeals to everyone, if you prefer the "nut cheese" approach to things, this place might be your best bet!"
"Really, really delicious food! I appreciate this place offering vegan meats that are not commercially made. I loved my Madison Philly with a side of chili (with vegan cheeze, sour cream and green onions). The wings were so good! They had a texture I wasn't expecting; I totally recommend them! My husband had the "Steak" sandwich and absolutely loved it. He was full from the wings but could not stop eating that sandwich, haha! We will be coming back to Madison JUST to come here."
"The all vegan/vegetarian menu was amazing! The fried oyster mushroom po' boy was everything I loved in a vegan po' boy. The vegan buffalo wings were delicious esp with whatever kind of ranch they use. And the Alfredo with the cashew cheese was excellent. My only critique was the server looked very annoyed when I asked them a question about to go boxes which I guess are inside for guests to grab but as we were sat and served on the patio, we didn't know that. But looking past that, the food is everything I hoped for and sitting on the patio on a spring evening was so nice. Will totally eat here again!"
