"I was a little worried about trying this restaurant because of the recent negative reviews on google. But we gave it a shot. We came on a Friday nights few weeks ago. We were seated in the bar area. The food was mediocre- we had a couple combo seafood platters, baked cod and steak. Our server did not provide good customer service. He was not attentive, was rude and just acted annoyed or inconvenienced by us. He argued over whether we ordered a cup or bowl of soup and why we wanted more tartar sauce. He never came back to ask us how our meals were, if we needed more drinks or wanted anything else like dessert. He just dropped off the bill. Then to top it off another staff member asked us to leave because “there was a waiting list”. It’s not like we were sitting for hours just taking up a table. It was just rude and added to our not so great experience. We will not be back. I can’t recommend this restaurant."

"Eating in the bar side room can be noisy and distracting. The Wednesday night we went the main room was closed for an investment presentation! That being said, there is ample room but Thursday, Friday, Saturday can be packed even without a wedding reception going downstairs. (The main restaurant is at the top of a long ramp at the "hayloft" level...not easy if you are escorting a senior citizen)"

"We dined here recently with a party of six and enjoyed our experience very much. We were seated promptly in the main dining room and did not have a chance to check out the large bar area or the silo dining room. The room was large and tastefully decorated with quality furniture, not expected in an old barn building. Very classy but subtle. Our server was efficient and personable with perfect timing throughout the evening. Before dinner cocktails were well poured and at a reasonable price. The meals came out hot from the kitchen and were well presented on the plates. Our party had a variety of choices from steaks to prime rib to lobster and scallops. All were very satisfied with the quality and quantity of our dinners. All of our friends were very impressed with the whole dining experience and promised to return soon."
