"Well it's located just steps away from where I live in superior wi, located on belknap ave I really like this place, as I've been there many times, but there isn't a whole lot of men's clothing, and some of the stuff is kind of expensive for a second hand store, but they have lots of other items, like household items, to furniture, gadgets, women's clothing, kids clothing and much, much, more! The staff is friendly and helpful! They rely solely on donations, so keep that in mind!!"
"I’ll start by saying, I know this isn’t like a 5 star fine dining place or anything fancy, but the employees here went beyond poor customer service, they were straight up unkind. I knew they closed at 5:00 so I was being mindful of the time, and made my way up to the counter at 4:50 to check out (there was no line so I knew I’d be rung up and out of the store before closing). While pushing my cart to the front all three employees started making comments very loudly and dramatically to each other (even though they were sitting right next to each other) saying how “[I] better hurry because [I’m] the last customer in the store,” “We better get out of here on time,” and just other rude comments directed towards me. Right as I stepped up the the register he individual behind the register said loudly to their coworker, “It’s going to take forever to ring her up.” (I had 13 items total and it literally took less than one minute to ring me up). No offense but looking at a price tag and typing it into a register isn’t rocket science (if there is some sort of disability that would make that task difficult then that’s understandable, but it’s still snarky and unprofessional to complain about a customer who is two feet away from you). I said hello and they did not respond, or even look at me, or say a single word to throughout the entire transaction. Their hostility was so strange and intentional, I was tempted to say “I’m so sorry for inconveniencing you” and just run out right then and there because I was literally feeling unnerved and uneasy. I remained pleasant and polite throughout the whole experience because I believe what you put out in the world will come back to you. Unfortunately, that didn’t work this time. When the person handed me my change I smiled and said “thank you,” and still did not get a single word back. Awkward. The employee then immediately came out from behind the counter and followed me as physically closely as possible (despite wearing a face mask??) to shut and lock the door immediately behind me. I felt really uncomfortable having someone invade my personal space so intentionally like that. I looked down at my phone right when I got out the door to see what time it was (it was 4:56). I understand lingering customers can be annoying. And it’s not easy to work in the customer service industry all the time; however, I was officially out of the building before they closed and I gave them no reason to be so rude. I’m a kind person who assumes positive intent in people and felt kind of disheartened by how I was treated. I immediately went next door to Earth Exchange and the employees there were so kind and sweet. I’ll skip the weird spiteful vibe at Salvation Army and just go right the Earth Exchange next time. (The Golden Rule is not only the right thing to do, but it is good for business too)."
"Super disappointed. A lot of this stuff should be going to a landfill/recycling. Old dressing jar scratched up $1.99. A regular glass jar without a lid $0.99. Are you kidding me right now??? Old dirty bath and body works shower gel almost gone $1.99"
"Was just great and the manager helped us find luggage and then found better in back of store and came running up to exchange for what we had bought. Now that's a caring manager. She was the best service wise entire trip. It's Florida boys thank you"
"Outside was pretty dirty, but the inside was good! Many wonderful and mysterious items lay in this store, I swear."
