Established in 1989, Rainbow Rising was created to meet the needs of school-age children in Irvine, and we are currently located at 15 elementary schools in the area. Our programs include before and after-school care, as well as all-day daycare during school breaks and holidays. We offer a developmentally based curriculum with homework time, enrichment activities, recreational play, arts, music, dance, science, and math.
The Rainbow name reflects wonder, beauty, and the joy of nature. Our mascot, the friendly Rainbow Dragon, symbolizes bringing friends and families together. We invite families to share any stories or information about dragons in their culture.
Enrollment at Rainbow Rising is on a first-come, first-serve basis and may be subject to a waitlist. Families can enroll online through their school's page, and enrollment offers will be sent via the Site Director. We welcome new families to visit our site's page and click the enrollment/waitlist link.
