"I don't understand why I need an appointment just to go and look at furniture!!!!"
"I’m confused with a 5 star rating here but only one review on Yelp. Glassdoor gives them a 1.9 rating so something isn’t jiving. We took this rating for its word and went with Bassman and Blaine. Long story short, do not use - they misrepresented themselves, abandoned the project, and now are threatening to keep a $5k deposit they insisted on getting up front. They wanted 10k and we declined thank goodness. I met one of the vendors these guys use by happenstance and the cost of the furniture they sell is so low and Bassman sells it for a huge mark up. We never got to that point though because BB are so focused on making a profit on the mark up and tried to push the cheapest looking furniture. Not only that, they ordered blinds for us without sign off or agreement; we just received an invoice. The blinds are all wrong even the vendor doing the install was confused with the configuration. When no one returned calls we threatened to dispute with AmEx and someone called us right back. They made more promises to remedy but they never did. Didn’t even call us back which we documented and they had stood us up a total of 5 times. The verification to leave reviews here isn’t much so I can see why the 5 star rating here doesn’t add up."
