"Great place to hike it's not a difficult one the site is amazing just got to be careful there's a lot of horse poop on the floor"
"Amazing place with mule deer, foxes, bobcats, coyote, and historical buildings. Please don't vandalize when you go. October is mating season for mule dder so they are more bold and will charge. Noise doesnt always work. Walk slowly. Never turn your back and the buck will follow his mate. I have had two close encounters. Noise freaked them out. Slow moments. If charging you, put a tree or something between you and hooves or antlers. I carry a backpack and hiking pole for safety. Water and sunblock. The snakes are most active when it warms up in Spring and sumner. Give space and they usually just leave. Trantulas have crossed my path and we both jumped. Many hikes in park. Horses and mountain bikes too."
"Beautiful park with trails through the woods. Makes you feel like you are out in the wilderness, but yet so close to town. Love seeing the occasional deer and other wildlife."
"Great park! Great trails! You can ride for hours upon hours, but there are also trails that you can use to do a short loop if you don't want to keep going. It's ALWAYS beautiful and peaceful. Great for horses. The only thing that can be expected in this environment is rattle snake. Be very careful."
"Medium-Easy hike, haven't tried the "Hi-Up" trail yet. Be careful though as some trails go outside of the property and signs are posted. Saw one deer on my second trip."
