It's always clean and well-presented; a nice place to get out of the house for a bit on a weeknight, and I usually find something I like. "This place has always been great. It's an institution. Typical department store but great products and good service. Always clean and inviting, though, a bit too perfumey sometimes. You can do a lot of good Christmas shopping and back to school shopping here. It can be on the pricey side but if you shop smart there are bargains to be found. I do like their men's department and household appliance section."

"Sunday afternoon, 4 o’clock, usually a good shopping day, but no clerks are available to help you. For example, the men’s department had four clerks, three of which were hanging out behind a cash register, and the other one was behind the jewelry and notions counter. This was once a good store where you could get good service; it’s so sad to see how understaffed Macys Santa Rosa is. A couple of other disappointments: the escalator was broken, elevator hard to find due to lack of signage, fitting room not available in one area (see picture), etc. Sure hope Macy’s gets its act together soon or the rest of their stores are going to start disappearing like the other ones they had to close."
