"I had to asked 3 times to make sure that I purchased a cappuccino cake and when I arrived at home in LA Crescenta near Glendale to find out they gave me a tres leches cake instead after asking 3 times. I called them and I went thru 3 people first after on being hold for 15 minutes. Finally, I spoke with a Maria which was really rude as hell and she wanted me to take milk cake back the next day with receipt from basically Glendale mind being I would have to take this cake with me to work before going to Pomona. I would never go this Cardenas again. Go to a different one people. They are really rude here especially whoever this Maria is at this store. I have been a Cardenas customer for at 20 years and that is how they treat a long time customer. MARIA YOU NEED MAJOR TRAINING ON CUSTOMER SERVICE ."

"Was a good experience even though the ladies at the bakery didn't know what jocoque was but another employee guided me to the correct department."

"I’m giving an extra star here despite my bad experience today because this is generally a nice store with a variety of interesting products and some good prices on certain things. However I must note that we had a few concerns: the food we ate there did not taste very fresh and several canned things were obviously used. Also when we bought groceries, the self checkout scale kept erroring out and became impossible to use so we took everything off and went to a cashier. I asked the cashier to ensure my phone number had registered due to having clipped coupons, and she didn’t confirm. Post checkout I saw that my coupons had not applied so I went to the manager, who was unfortunately not helpful and basically said it was too time consuming and complicated to redo the transaction. If that’s true then it’s not great that they’re not equipped to make things right by the customer. I will edit this review to a higher rating if I get a helpful response from the main customer service email. Thanks"

"The refrigerated products are not at the proper refrigeration temperatures. One of five products that I have purchased in the past have been spoiled. Few shopping carts, the ones that they do have, are damaged and holding up with a tied plastic produce bag (see image). The manager told me that I had to walk around the parking to manage to get a shopping cart from someone who was leaving. They dont have baskets. The dairy products are low in stock (see image), and their temperature is not adequate for consumption. It's very disappointing because it's the only chain market nearby."

"I went in here to get some cash back while waiting for my car to be serviced near by. While I was in there I found myself wanting to check out the store. It was all very well organized and clean. Friendly fast service at check out. I really liked the themed produce area with the trees."
