About the Business

Irvine Regional Park

Irvine Regional Park is a beautiful 495-acre park located at 1 Irvine Park Road in Orange, California, United States. Nestled among heritage Oak and Sycamore trees, the park offers a serene setting for leisure activities. Santiago Creek runs through the park, and a pond with a stone-work waterfall adds to its natural beauty. The park features a variety of landscapes, including rolling foothills filled with wildlife.

Visitors can enjoy a paved bicycle/walking trail, six playgrounds, four softball fields, two horseshoe pits, and a lake. There is also a three-mile equestrian trail that provides scenic views of the park. Additionally, Irvine Regional Park is home to the OC Zoo, which is a must-visit for animal lovers.

The park offers four group picnic areas for large gatherings, each with built-in barbecues, sinks, and permanent tables. There are also concessions available, including bicycle and aquacycle rentals, a snack bar, and children's pony rides. The Irvine Park Railroad offers a 10-minute train ride through the park's oak woodland, and party pavilions can be reserved for smaller groups.

Please note that parking fees vary depending on the day of the week, with higher rates on weekends and holidays. Due to high visitor numbers, the park may close to vehicle traffic on weekends when it reaches capacity. It's recommended to plan your visit accordingly.

Irvine Regional Park celebrated its 125th anniversary in October 2022, and continues to be a popular destination for families, nature enthusiasts, and picnickers. With its beautiful landscapes, recreational facilities, and wildlife, Irvine Regional Park offers something for everyone to enjoy.

"Great place to get out. Unexpected workout on the surrey (bicycle kart) wasn’t expensive and was a fun way to explore the park. There was a small zoo with $2 entry, bummer didn’t make it in time."
