I have loved getting inked here, def one of the best places in the bay for a tat - check out their resident and guest artists and you'll find someone that will be a good fit for sure."

"Amazing tattoo studio. This is by far one of my favorite places to get tattoos in the Bay! I found Louise on IG and immediately knew I needed a tattoo from her (and now I have 3 tattoos from her; one flash and two customized). Louise is a dedicated artist and she puts so much time and effort into each piece. She is so friendly and easy to talk to. For both of my custom tattoos, I wanted some small changes, so it was easy to do and work with her on the changes in the studio. I'd highly recommend getting a tattoo or three from her!"

"I have been going to Denise ever since she was an apprentice at a different shop. She made my first tattoo experience one of the best experiences i could have. She talked me through the whole process and answered all my questions. When the stencil was placed she would double check and triple check to make sure the placement is right especially since skin twists and stretches which would distort the tattoo a little. If there was anything I didn't like or wanted to change, Denise was always willing to work with me to come up with something i liked and that i agreed to have tattooed on my body. During the tattoo process she saw i was a bit uncomfortable with the pain so she took it upon herself to have conversations with me to give me some distraction. The tattoo came out better than i could ever imagine and from there i just kept going back for more. Since then, Denise opened her first shop so i followed her to Parallax and now to her second shop Parallax 2.0. Parallax always has a friendly environment and i have gotten to know everyone there. All the artists there are professional and work with their clients to give them what they want while making the whole process fun and enjoyable."

"I had an amazing time getting a lovely custom piece by Emily! She worked this piece so beautifully around my current tattoos and the process was smooth and easy (-: As someone who can be a little anxious with these things I felt comfortable and cared for in the studio. If you love cutesy/whimsical art then I highly recommend checking out Emily’s work, I gotta hold myself back from wanting more so soon!"

"i had been looking everywhere, for months, to get my old tattoos covered. no matter where i looked, i always ran into the same issue with every artist. poor or no communication, insanely high rates, and awful attitudes... ... then i met Derek. he has been nothing short of a pleasure to work with. he's extremely thorough in all of his work and has stellar communication. most of all, he makes me feel not like a customer but like a friend. as someone with both autism and anxiety, i struggle with overwhelming atmospheres and new experiences. everyone at Parallax has made me feel at home and helped unknowingly mitigate that. the atmosphere is incredibly clean, their music taste is superior, and there's (not so) hidden gems all over the place *cough* like Denise's face all over the walls *cough*. the entire shop is laid back and everyone is so funny, welcoming, and friendly. every time i go, i don't want to leave. thank you, everyone at Parallax, for making my visits incredible. and apologies for my awkwardness ~"
