Our mission is to provide our customers with the best possible food experience by offering a carefully curated selection of the finest ingredients and partnering with local and sustainable small businesses. 10% of the profits from our meat goes to Nourish the People, a foundation started by the owners, Corinne and Brady.
Corinne and Brady took over the store in 2016 and have worked diligently to create a place where food meets community. They source much of their inventory from local farmers and vendors and believe in supporting local and sustainable businesses. The store is a gathering place for the community, where neighbors come together to enjoy food, coffee, and conversation.
In addition to groceries, Rocky's Market offers a variety of services such as sound healing, energy clearing, birth chart readings, past lives readings, and aura readings. Corinne also has a business called Sundari Healing where she offers these services.
Corinne and Brady recently opened a second location, Rocky's Market Brooklyn Basin, but have decided to reinvest their energies back into their first location in Oakmore. "I really like this place, it's super convenient, the staff has always been friendly to me, especially the owner, he special ordered some tea for my mom, and they have a delicious chicken truck in the parking lot on Mondays. My only complaints , that they're kinda pricey and they don't always have certain things I'm specifically looking for. But they do often have different things, and some I've never heard of but love."
"This place is great. Selection of everything is all niche, healthy and fresh. Can you take care of the bees in the back alley. I got one stuck in my hair the other day. It was startling to find a bee tangled in my hair only to find the other bees from that give in back of the store swarming me. No stings, all is well. But yeah, just wanted to suggest taking a peek at that. Otherwise your store is awesome... I love the baguette, butter, cheese, salami sandwiches most!!!!"
"Great little grocery store with fresh produce, a good selection of bread and snacks, as well as pantry essentials, and toiletry items. They also have a display area with candles and special creams and oils that are great for gifting. Friendly and helpful staff. Always a pleasant experience shopping here!s"
