"What a wonderful place to shop! Jamal, the owner, is very friendly and intent on providing a high level of customer service. He will ask how you are and will even order a particular item for you if he can. The food is high quality and they have almost anything you need for your house. They have convenient parking so it's easy to get in and out of the market. It also feels wonderful to support a small business whose owner lives in Oakland instead of giving money to a larger chain."
"Convenient, everything you need when you want a nice meal but want to avoid a large grocery store. The only thing that keeps it from the fifth star is that prices aren't listed on the items in the freezer and it can feel embarrassing to ask the price of stuff and I just want to make quick decisions and I'd it's reasonable then I might get another. I use natural body products and they even have that too, great vegetable, gluten free options and bulk snacks. Super fancy icecream selection if you want to treat yourself. Really sweet family that owns it or at least I assume they're family."
