"I went to Piedmont Grocery during a walking tour of the neighborhood today and found it to be clean with a limited selection of specialty items and fresh produce. I found some very sturdy faux crystal glasses that I had been looking for but when I went to inquire on what they were made of and the price, a full faced, laced front Sista acted like helping me would immediately get her "I'm one of the good ones" card revoked. She was beyond rude. I went to another checkstand where a very friendly Sista from another Mista helped me out with a warm smile and great service. As a person of color, it is disheartening when I get a staff person that is from my same community treating customers like trash."
"Expensive. Selection is very “White”, for lack of a better way of describing it. Great cheese and meat choices. Very limited Mexican, Asian, Black food sections (even when compared to a place like Wholefoods)."
