"I come here almost daily. I play wheelchair basketball and they have a nice court where I can get some good work in. Only problem is there isn't a curb cut out in front of the park on the sidewalk. I bring a portable ramp to get onto the curb. Called the city of Newark to get that worked on they said maybe and it wouldn't be till the end of summer."

"Park is ok. There's a terrific food bank there with the nicest people. The park does have some homeless and very dark and not safe at night."

"The park is old but has everything a 3-4 year old would love. The park area is huge and has something for every age. I noticed elder people taking a walk and also toddlers to highschool kids playing in the same park which is perfect. There are two different jungle gym areas for different ages."

"There have been gangs of homeless people controlling access to the bathroom. Be careful when going there alone or at night when strange noises come from even stranger areas. Sometimes you will hear what appears to be animal sounds, but it's just a random person enjoying his/her usual crack binge. An uwuuu here and there is very common. Try not to have change in your pockets because the vagrants will hear that and demand it as tribute to bathroom access. It is recommended to carry a 6 pack of beer to entice the vagrants while peeing or else you will get awkward stares. Avoid the basketball area when you start to smell a foul urine smell, that usually means they are at "it" again."
