"The space and play structures are great. The old ground up tires is one way to recycle tires, but they are smelly and after being there for some time now, they still stink and leave your shoes black and anything else that touches them is covered with oxidized black rubber. Be sure to wear old clothes and sneakers you don't care about."
"I had a great time attending the classic car show. Families and their animal companions got to swinging and playing on the park equipment. When the lot is vacant, the park has potential for peaceful and serene walks altogether"

"Excellent park for picnics, barbecue, swings and playground, frisbee and frisbee golf, 2 Bocce Ball Courts, 3 Horseshoe pits, a community garden, and right next to the public library. Public restrooms and water fountains. Almost 6 1/2 acre park. ADA parking. Nearby McKinleyville Activity Center has many amenities including indoor sporting equipment, roller skates, special events, etc."
"The park is great! With the huge open field the kids car run untill they drop. The gazebo which we rented for a birthday party has power and it's really affordable especially for entertaining kids. It has a huge fire pit/bbq and plenty of tables and seating."
