"There is no direct parking for the trails. Union University across the street has the closest parking. The trails are open to the public. Tranquil pond despite noisy construction across the street. The pond produces a trickling waterfall beneath a wooden bridge. The creek is barely flowing in dry weather. And houses are visible from the trail, at least in February. There was a little trash and mild graffiti, but otherwise a pristine experience. Over 6.5 miles of trails, and I hiked 6 in 2-2.5 hours. The trails are well-trodden and well-marked, just don't be fooled by shortcuts."

"Certainly a hidden gem for nature hiking in Jackson. Three different trailheads and several options to "build your own hike". Total distances is roughly 6 miles but 7-8 sections allow your to shorten or lengthen as desired. Trail is well maintained with very few muddy areas. Several trip hazards with roots and a bit of elevation change, but that should be expected with a wooded hike."

"It's a hidden gem in Jackson. There's not many places you can go in the city and have miles of hiking and bike riding trails. It's always a fun and safe place to go with the kids!"
