Shoe Carnival

"The manager has a very poor attitude and looked sloppy and unprofessional. She didn't speak, but kept talking to her coworker. I see exactly why the store was empty. Imagine mom of 6 and won't be returning."

"Oh no, absolutely to hell with this place and the employees. Do not shop here, I'm contacting home office right after I finish this review. My son is 2 years old, we needed to get him some shoes so we came here and almost immediately found a pair he loved so much that he would cry is we took them, all good right? We go to check out and they're mismatched sizes, it happens, so they send a guy back to find a matching size. They don't have any. It happens. So the guy offers to sell us the mismatched pair at a discounted price and/or order the right size. My wife says he needs to get a pair today so we go back and look for another 45 minutes or so and he was dead set on the one pair. I don't mind spending a little extra to get the pair he wants so we decide we'll buy the mismatched pair and order the right ones. We give my son the mismatched pair back and go to checkout, when suddenly the guy backs out and says they actually can't sell them. So we have to take them from my son AGAIN, making him cry for the third time over these shoes all because the manager (I assume) changed his mind. What kind of company first screws up their products, then makes false promises to make up for it? Horrible. Only one employee was nice and apologetic, the guy checking us out up front. My entire family shops at this store, but I can assure you that I'll make sure none of them shop here again. Upset my son, upset my wife, wasted our time, horrible. Now to contact home office. EDIT: It got WORSE. After contacting home office, we went about our weekend like normal. This morning (9/5/23) I find out that they cancelled the order for my son's shoes on Sunday (9/3/23) because the 'product wasn't available'. How are you going to place an order for a product that isn't available in the first place? Anyways, it's been 3 days now since they cancelled the order and they still haven't refunded our money. Do not shop here."
