"I had my partner come in for a hair cut on his birthday because his barber was the best. Arrived with 3 people already waiting, but that was not a problem; explained he would wait for his barber. His barber turned him away after waiting for almost 2 hrs and said a younger, still training, barber could provide service. His barber said he had to leave and come back - we explained we could still wait that it wasn't a problem, but still was pushed. My partner did not feel comfortable at all, but trusted his barber and allowed it. This poor young barber did not know how to execute what was asked and my man basically got a buzz to the skin..not a fade..as we were leaving his barber was pulling back into the parking lot and asked how it went. We stayed in the parking lot for another 20 mins explaining the dissatisfaction. I left I comment and was responded by owner that next time I should wait for who we wanted...SAD TO SAY BUT IT WAS THE OWNER WHO WAS THE BARBER AND PUSHED HIM, THE CLIENT, TO THE BARBER IN TRAINING. Reviews are to help make businesses better. I can not believe this business owner saw us in public and approached us about it and did not even talk to me, but it was asked of me to take my first review down. Sir the professional thing to do was ask the gentleman you did wrong to return back to your shop so you can cut his hair they way it should have been. Then we could gave changed the review and everyone could see how genuine the business is. Sadly that was not done and will not return to this establishment personally, but happy the other support it gives to the rest of the community."

"This barbershop is awesome. Very kid friendly, with a movie always playing while customers wait. It's clean and there are comfortable seats and a couch as well."

"I usually never do reviews but I just moved out here so I needed to find me a new Barber and on my first try I found my shop. Walked into Mi Familia as soon as they opened and Efrain greeted me and instantly took me as it was not busy yet. My haircut of choice is taper on the sides and a lil off the top. Efrain took his time and made sure the Taper looked good. I will def be coming back and bringing my son for all my Barber needs."
