"Folks, this place is off the charts great. We had a great Saturday evening experience with a unique menu that elevates Mexican cuisine to a new level. Even better than the food is the attentiveness of the staff, which flows right from the chef/owner and his family. The ambience and setting are nice and we will definitely be back next time we are in Carmel."

But the flavor profile for everything is heavenly. The respect for the vegetable are deeply appreciated... I'm not sure where in the Carmel area you can order the dishes that Nicholas Cocina de Herencia create. I don't think you can. Along with the quality. I can see the passion they put into their food. Also a must try is the Memories Cognac. It is truly sublime! Excellent for a cold misty Carmel night. Once again a call out to the staff. They listen and passionately answered all my questions. We walked out very happy! And yes. The dining experience was worth every cent..."

"We just had the most insanely delicious meal here. The combination of very unique flavors was so creatively choreographed! What an incredible and delightful treat having such an amazing dining experience here in Carmel. Highly recommend: Queso Fundido, Crab Chili Relleno & Mole Blanco. "So excited to come check it out at their soft opening yesterday afternoon. Everybody was really nice. Server Nancy was great. (The food runners didn't quite know what table to bring what food to, but I am sure after another week or so they will be up to speed) Interior is dimly lit (so bring a flashlight to read the menu) Presentation of everything was beautiful. Fresh Lemonade with a garnish of fresh berries was delicious. Yummm! Complimentary basket of 3 large Chips were fabulous ( the good thing is an extra order of chips is only $2 dollars) Salsa trio and guacamole were both side orders and wonderful (but it was $34 combined for the salsa trio and guacamole!) Kumamoto Oysters on the half shell had three excellent sauces to try with the oysters. Chicken enchilada was very good. Squash Blossom Flan with a whipped cream of sorts was a disappointment as it was all MUCH too sweet, and very thick and heavy in consistency; Hopefully the pastry Chef will consider adjusting this to being delicate in mouth feel with a more restrained hand on the sugar. Dinner for one person came to a total of $147 with tax and before tip - and I had ordered no alcohol."
