"WOW!!! 3 of us went in today for their make-up service and we had Inett, Rachael, and Cristina and we look amazing!!! I'm actually glad I can't do my own make-up the way they did because I would probably take over the world lol. They were very professional, fun, and punctual. I will 100% go there again and I will refer my friends as well. We couldn't be happier."

They made the wedding trial and wedding day so enjoyable and kept us right on time. All responses and payment schedules were timely and clear and they were a great price. "Very disappointed with the stylist Inette. She decided to pay herself early which was not a part of her contract there were set dates in which payment would be made. She brought along an assistant which in my mind means she's there to assist but after performing makeup on the bride and myself she left her assistant alone to do the other three by herself and packed up her Whatever you do don't challenge her on her process or ask her to make contact with any other vendors that might be working with her It disturbs her chi. I think she takes herself way too serious she's not a pediatric open heart surgeon she's a makeup artist."

"I sought out hair and makeup services from the Glam Bar in Walnut Creek for my wedding day along with services for my 9 bridesmaids. To be perfectly honest, the owner, Inette Montes did not make a good first impression on me, she came off a bit cold and militant but I trucked on through and scheduled a hair and makeup trial. Despite not liking the hair, I was very much pleased by the makeup services provided by one of the beauticians contracted through the glam bar. Vyvy had great energy and her makeup artistry was on point. Before leaving the Glam Bar I 100% had opted to hire Vyvy for my big day and confirmed I’d like to book her with the owner, Inette. Had I known at the time that the owner was going to add painful stress and agony to my wedding day I would have spared myself the torture and skipped right over The Glam Bar when the first impression striked out. Unfortunately I had to learn the hard way that Inette is all about her business, contracts and the fine print. Thus leaving the Glam Bar to reflect her lack of passion for the industry and lack of compassion for it’s customers. During my trial she ended up charging me for extra time even though I was on time for my appointment, was at no fault that the stylist exceeded her timeframe and had made it very clear before my appointment that I was not willing to pay for extra time during the trial. Mind you I spent over $400 on trials with this place. However this was just the icing on the big disappointment cake Inette was cooking up for me. As it turns out, as per the contract you have to sign, if you wish to make any changes to said contract then you are charged a $50 fee for EACH change that needs to be made. My trial was on a Thursday, if you’ve every planned a wedding you know how hectic it can be so it ended up that through the weekend we noticed changes that needed to be made to the order in which the bridesmaids were lined up for their makeup. Therefor I held off on paying the invoice, as I was not a fan of the $50 change fee and would want to avoid unnecessary fees like this at all costs until I could speak to Inette. I hit her up first thing Sunday morning (just 2 days later), told her we ironed out some last minute changes and wanted to nail down this invoice at which point her response was “This is not something to discuss through text.” I was caught off guard and gave her a quick follow up call only to find out she had already locked in Vyvy for another occasion. I begged her to please consider the fact that it was my wedding day, I had already done the trial and she knew I wanted Vyvy; begged her to please swap Vyvy out for another stylist so that we could free her up for my special day but her only response was “at this time I don’t have anyone who can fill in for her, sorry.” I knew by her tone she cared very little that she was putting a huge damper on the wedding day. I was left in the lurch to look for a backup plan and come out of pocket another $250 for a second trial all because the contract was not executed to Inette’s liking. Trust me brides, there are so many talented makeup artists who will offer you gorgeous results, stress, headache and hassle free. SHOP AROUND because Glam Bar is not worth it."
