"I was treated for gum sensitivity off and on for a year. I actually needed a root canal. This dentist was aware of the a small crack in the same tooth. I went through painful swelling and received antibiotics in the ER. I had to pay for the root canal out of pocket because my insurance was exhausted having to deal with back and forth visits and seeing specialists .After getting the root canal the specialist recommend a cap right away. This dentist gave me a filling knowing that the crack was still there. As of today after seaking a second opinion because the same tooth is still giving me trouble going in to a second year.. It was confirmed a cap should of been placed over the tooth. Now it has to extracted because it can no longer be saved. He sent me a bill for the filling...he actually wants me to pay for nothing."
