"Seems to be more of a sales office than a dental one; I’d imagine that their success hinges on a fresh population of young students who don’t know enough about dentistry or insurance to know what they are and aren’t getting. Most important: be aware that their “dental exam” is actually remote- as in instead of having a dentist in the room who looks at your teeth and gums, they have a tech take x-rays and pictures and then you have to download an app and log in so that you can get on a zoom call with a dentist (who knows where the dentist is). A few quick google searches indicate that several important parts of a dental exam require the dentist to actually touch you, so right away we’re starting below what I would consider to be the standard of care, and when I described this experience to my new dentist (a Columbia dental school graduate with years of experience) they said they had never heard of any practice doing such a thing. After this call, the tech disappeared for longer than the actual appointment portion took to write up the treatment plan and estimate, and then tried to put the pressure on me to sign and pay in advance right there. I chose to have an actual dentist do a real exam instead and followed up that way. Additionally, they scheduled me for a follow-up in late December without my input and without informing me, then tried to say that I must have scheduled it at my initial visit (which I know to be false as I have text messages from the clinic requesting that I schedule an appointment). Fortunately they did not charge a no-show fee for “missing” the appointment, but it’s a reflection on the practice regardless. The staff is nice enough but you are not going to get quality dental care here."

"I would not recommend seeing this dentist. They have good reviews because they give out free mouthwash if you give them 5 stars. First, it is important to know that the dentist will not be there in person. They will be over zoom. Second, the cleaning was not thorough. Third, I was told I had a bad cavity and needed to get it filled. I got a second opinion by a different dentist and he said I had absolutely no signs of cavities. The same thing happened to a friend of mine that went to Total Health Dental. Fourth, when they tried to schedule me for the filling, all the sudden it was going to be out of network and extremely expensive. Fifth, the mouthwash tastes like dirt. Please go see a different dentist!!"

"Very friendly atmosphere, Ashley assisted me and was very helpful in explaining pricing, substitution, and describing what oral problems I was concerned about. Was able to receive a next day appointment with oral surgeon! Will be coming back! Location is perfect for college students in the area they also have a very good system for payment plans if insurance may not cover full treatment!"
