"Over the last week I've had 6 needles profesionally stuck in my body for one reason or another, and Dr. Jae Myung is the only one who didn't give any sort of warning before he stabbed me. He just said, we're going to start the filling now, open your mouth, and stuck an unannounced needle into my gum. That felt disrespectful compared to the quality of care I've received from every other dentist, phlebotomist, nurse, piercer, tattoo artist, or doctor who has ever put a needle inside of me. Thankfully I am not afraid of needles, but I know that would traumatize my mother if that happened to her. I have needed additional local anesthetic in the past, I mentioned I didn't feel any numbness yet, he waited about a minute, and then started drilling. I just sat through it (hard to say anything when there are 2 people's hands in your mouth and i was obviously wincing in pain). honestly I didn't really feel numb until after that procedure was already done. That was followed up by the most painful cleaning of my life, but that is probably on me since I haven't visited a dentist in years. Besides that, the rest of the staff was really friendly. I wish I could remember their names because otherwise this was a great and relatively quick experience."
"I have been to this dentist 3 times and have yet to even get my teeth cleaned due to how late they always seem to be running. My first experience I sat in the waiting room for 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment and was never brought back for services. I ended up leaving and rescheduling. The reschedule appointment was cancelled by them. Then today I went back. I got there 30 minutes early and wasn’t called to go back until 20 minutes after my appointment. I had x-rays then sat in a room for another 20 minutes, then a very kind dentist met with me to go over my X-rays for 10ish minutes than I sat alone again for 10ish minutes until someone came back and tried to upsell me on a cleaning saying “it is like this because you haven’t been here in a while” I haven’t been in a while because they keep canceling my appointments. They then told me it would be another 15 minutes until my cleaning which would take 30-45 minutes. I had to go to a meeting so I had to leave again without a cleaning. Very unimpressed. My family and I will be looking for other dentists."
"I rarely write reviews- and when I do it's mostly 5 stars. I have just had one terrible experience after another at this dental office. It was unfortunate that I could not find another dental office nearby that took my insurance- if I could go back in time I would have driven 2+ hours to avoid this clinic. Where should I start? They double book and you should expect to wait at least 45 minutes- I have never been treated earlier than that. I had two crowns sent out in the same month, and I really wanted them to be the same shade (makes sense, right?) and after when they were delivered it is clearly not the same shade, and I feel a little goofy, crowns are expensive so that is frustrating that two different shades were ordered. They have you sign all paperwork with just a pad and not actually show you what you are signing unless you ask, and then it's a hassle for them to turn the computer around to let you see. They mislead me and did a bait and switch with the root canal specialist. I was billed $600 more in addition to what I paid after the procedure because the office manager Hannah told me she made an error and my dental insurance did not cover that procedure like expected- so over a month after my procedure I had a bill of over $600 out of nowhere- not cool, and also I don't even think that is legal with good faith estimate. Two dentist had vastly different opinions. I've had to take several days off of work for my dental - it is very frustrating to have to go back due to negligence or poor scheduling. I went mid Feb 2023, waited over an hour, saw the dentist who was not the one I was expecting- he told me I did not need the other 2 crowns so I just needed 1 crown/root canal today. The other two teeth had cavities and I was scheduled to have them completed the same day but the dentist either was too lazy or behind so he opted not to do them. Now I have a temporary crown in and guess what, just like every other time, it comes out (granted not 30 minutes later, but a week later) and they never did the permanent crown impression because they ran out of time. So I have to drive another HOUR just to get a crown impression because they did not have time to complete it when I went for my visit because it was after 4pm-- well, I waited over an hour and drove an hour each way. Super frustrating. So now, I will be missing work AGAIN to drive there, get a temporary crown and have them finally make the impression of the crown to send out. I also just found out that they billed for the crown and documented it was sent out and already completed- which is a lie and fraudulent. Extremely upsetting experience. They do not respect your time, two dentist with vastly different opinions, one dentist too lazy to do more than 1 filling as schedule, and at the end of the day even if you waited an hour after your scheduled appointment time you will be told they don't have time to finish the tooth impression to send out. Unbelievable. Oh!! The dentist said the difference of color between shades is not noticeable- it's a slight difference and no one can tell even when I smile. A picture is worth a thousand words. You decide. Both crowns made in the same month with the false promise its the same shade. Thousands of dollars was paid for the work I've had."
"Edit to my review, I changed it to 1 star. After my insurance proved them wrong, they refunded my $81. I thought all was settled until today when they sent me a bill for the $81! They are trying to still charge me for money they know they are not owed. The actual visit was fine. They got me in quickly I had to get a filling replaced I was in and out in about an hour. Staff in person is friendly but very hard to reach by phone. Lost stars because I called ahead to give them my insurance info and the insurance contact number so they could get all the paperwork straightened out before my visit and I don't know what happened but I was overcharged by $81. Still not straightened out with insurance, and I'm not happy about it."
"I had the best experience coming to this office. The staff here is phenomenal. The facility is extremely clean. Sam, Ilze, and Laysha all have great personalities, are extremely professional, and amazing at what they do. Dr V cleaned my teeth and it was the most at ease I have ever felt for a teeth cleaning before and after. We had three appointments throughout the day for my family and each appointment went smoothly and effortlessly. I highly recommend this dental office. I have never had such a perfect experience at any dental facility I have ever been in all 36 years of my life."
