"do NOT go to the headspa if you care about the integrity of your hair. The way they scrub your scalp feels good, but the damage it has on your hair is terrible. I have so much breakage on the top of my head (where the scrubbing was focused) and at times they were using the ends/mid shaft of my hair to scrub my scalp. they left my hair is a rats nest afterward.. i’m so disappointed to make this review because the customer service is top tier and the people working here are so kind, but this service is just not good for you hair."

"I usually like my treatments from Lumi. This time, I felt like the lady didn’t really know how to do ombre dip, also was a lot thinner layer than usual, And then two nails cracked within a week. I was pretty disappointed because you pay a lot more for ombre dip nails. My dip nails usually last around 2-3 weeks and they don’t crack/chip. I was disappointed at the results, because I’ve had and seen better. I will not name the technician so I don’t ruin her business but I will def not go back to her :( sadly So many extra charges on top of the dip nail charge $45 $10 to remove my previous dip nails $10 to clean cuticles $12 to do ombre to the dip nails Lasted 1 week. :("

"I was gifted a scalp massage for my birthday and will probably never go back. When I first went back into the treatment area I changed my top into one of their covers and sat In a super comfortable chair, was offered a blanket and pillow for comfort. She started off with some kind of oil with no smell and massaged my scalp for maybe 2 minutes total. During this time also they have a steamer going but it smelt like it hasn’t been cleaned in a while so it was like hot mildew smell or like you left the laundry in the wash for 2 days. Thankfully it kept turning off because I’m assuming it was out of water but she didn’t refill it so it kept beeping until another lady came and added more water to it. She then started washing my hair but was just raking her fingers through my hair no massage whatsoever, but I figured she will massage with the conditioner or other oils like mentioned in the description. NOPE! She washed my hair 2 times and it wasn’t with any fancy shampoo, just bed head. The arm and shoulders “massage” just felt like someone was putting lotion on me but was more of a “massage” compared to the scalp massage although some points felt like she was just slapping my skin. She couldn’t figure out the face mask so it kept slipping off half my face and at one point covered my nostrils. When I was done I looked around at the other people in there getting the same service and they all looked like they were getting an actual scalp massage with the shampoos. Not sure if the gal I had has ever done this before or not but it’s was very disappointing especially because the videos look so much different. The best part was where I was leaving the girl at checkout asked how things were and I said “okay” and then she proceeded to ask what I didn’t like. I then explained to her all that I mentioned above and she said “ohhh sorry…..cash or card?”. Overall a nice place but terrible service. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!"

"The hair spa is amazing! There is a room in the back of a bright nail salon, that is dimly lit with gentle spa music and gorgeous thick and shimmy curtains between each treatment area. Walk in quietly and whisper as you change into the drape or speak with your hair treatment person because there are other people in the room getting hair spa treatments. The chair was a soft squishy reclining chair that laid flat into a sink area that was really comfortable. You’re also given a blanket and pillow for comfort and warmth. It reminded me more or a weighted blanket feeling and it was super soft! Also, I’m so glad I came in with clean hair because they begin by doing a massage to ‘wake up’ the scalp. Could have been embarrassing if I’d had three (or more) day old hair! From there is was like ASMR heaven. Lots of serums, shampoo, conditioner, steam, massaging, a face mask that included a face massage. I was so relaxed that I fell asleep! After it was all done, I was given a moment to change and escorted to a another room with vanity’s, blow dryers, brushes, and several hair products."

"Tried out this new nail salon and spa and am in love. It was SO clean and relaxing, and everyone was so NICE and sweet which makes such a difference for me. I got a dip mani and the tech took her time and was so meticulous. I frequently get cuts or the electric file too deep on my natural nail at other places, but they were so careful here to craft a beautiful manicure. They have 2 giant walls of polish, gel and Dip colors. The pedicure area looks heavenly. They also have a Japanese Head Spa that I want to try. They don’t do acrylics here so they don’t have any toxic fumes or chemicals. It smells spa like inside and is so relaxing. Highly highly recommend Lumi, definitely making this my new nail salon."
