"Outstanding doctors are thwarted by staff who either don't care, don't know, and don't bother. I waited nearly 2 hours past my appointment time to be seen. No explanation or apology. My antibiotic was supposed to be called in immediately, but apparently it was past 5 pm on a Friday nite and they couldn't be bothered. Not the first time I've had issues with staff here. There is ALOT of staff - what's the problem? I had to call the on call physician AFTER HOURS to get the prescription filled that evening before the pharmacy closed. The staff is unapologetic."

"This institution fails to follow Title VI Limited English Proficiency (LEP) Patient Services which states that persons with Limited English Proficiency (LEP) receive the language assistance necessary to afford them meaningful access to these public health services. If you are a patient or have a loved one who doesnt speak English, Tennessee Eyecare does little to nothing to ensure meaningful access to their public health. This clinic failed multiple times to advise a patient (who only speaks/understands Spanish) their cataract surgery date and time. Patient would advise they dont speak English but this clinic never tried to reach a spanish speaking employee at the facility to attempt to confirm the date and time of their surgery. They only provide an interpreter day of surgery, but how is the patient supposed to know when to come in? Patient lives alone and needed language assistance but Tennessee Eyecare could care less. I attempted to call the surgery center to figure out why nobody was confirming patients surgery date and they simply said "we dont have anyone who speaks spanish in our surgery department". Nobody attempted to reach patient and all she needed was a simple confirmation of when her surgery would be. IT WAS ONLY WHEN I COMPLAINED AND MADE THIS REVIEW THAT THEY HAD THE INTERPRETER CALL HER to discuss her basic precall of surgery and date/time. Unprofessional and uncaring + failing to adhere to basic healthcare civil rights."
