"No shortage of great things to say about The Pretty Parlor. Mandy and Danielle helped me for my trial and came to Julian for our wedding day. After the trial they asked for feedback and what needed to change. They nailed the natural glam look for me and my bridal party. I was nervous my hair would maintain curls (it never holds) and Danielle made magic and my curls stayed to the next day perfectly in tact without feeling like I had a ton of product in it. They were at experts at making us feel so beautiful , bringing amazing fun vibes and ran completely on time to their schedule. I felt SO taken care of leading up to the day with details and exactly what was needed to prepare. Highly recommend for your special day!!!!"

"We hired the Pretty Parlor for our wedding at Sacred Mountain Ranch in April 2023. I was very impressed with their flexibility and communication prior to the wedding. I scheduled my hair and make-up trial with them a few months before the wedding, and I just didn’t love the way my hair turned out… I was hesitant to reach out (because I hate being that person) but I eventually did and Mandy was SO NICE. She asked me a bunch of questions and scheduled me another trial completely free with a stylist that more matched the style I was looking for. I ended up with Monique as my hair stylist and she was FABULOUS. She was so detailed and spent a lot of time with me making sure I loved every detail of my hair. She did a fabulous job on the wedding day for all my bridesmaids and myself. My hair stayed perfectly all day/evening and wasn’t uncomfortable at all. I absolutely loved her! Betsy was my make-up artist for both my trial and my wedding day. I was worried about my make-up because I’m not someone who really wears any make-up and I wanted to look like myself on my wedding day. I also have pretty sensitive skin and tend to breakout with most make-up products. Let me tell you, Betsy did an amazing job. She asked me a lot of questions about my skin type and sensitivities without my prompting at all. She matched my skin tone perfectly and I looked FABULOUS. My make up lasted the whole evening without any issues (and there was a lot of crying)! I didn’t get sunburned and I didn’t break out even a little bit. Both ladies were laid back, professional, and so much fun to work with. I highly recommend the pretty parlor for your wedding! They are professional and have some highly skilled employees!"

"Mandy and Danielle did a wonderful job on the hair and makeup for my August 2022 wedding. When I first started my search I was cautious about finding a team that could accommodate a bridal party with women from all different ethnicities - I’ve heard horror stories from my friends that are women of color that they can never find the right shade and their makeup never looks good. Mandy was very quick to reassure me that she had experience working with women of all backgrounds and from there on I was sold. Prior to my wedding, I booked a hair and makeup trial for both myself and my mom so that we could make any adjustments before the day of - both trials went smoothly and Mandy and Danielle took pictures and notes to recreate the looks on my wedding. On the day of, they showed up bright and early ready to go and efficiently glammed up 5 bridesmaids, two mothers, and me with plenty of time to spare before we had to get to the venue. Mandy made all the girls look so wonderful and elevated their natural beauty with minimal products (which was exactly what I was looking for) - my group isn’t big on makeup and Mandy found the perfect balance between too much makeup and just enough to make them shine. My friends of color were so happy to have finally found a makeup artist who made them feel beautiful! Danielle did an amazing job with everyone’s hair too - each girl came in with their hair inspo and Danielle worked her magic and did all their hair quickly but not rushed. I was impressed with how she was able to do so many different styles perfectly! Looking back at the photos of our wedding, I’ve never felt so beautiful and it was all thanks to Mandy and Danielle! They are the dream team of hair and makeup and their wonderful people too! We could not have asked for a better experience!"

"Pretty Parlor was so wonderful! They were so sweet and helpful, and were really nice and understanding when I wasn’t sure exactly how I wanted to proceed at first. I ended up doing a bridal hair and makeup trial, and they did my hair and makeup and all the bridesmaids and both moms hair for the wedding. I was so happy I chose to do a trial, it made me feel really confident and relaxed about what we were going to do on the day of the wedding. Initially I wasn’t sure I wanted to have my makeup done for the wedding - I don’t usually wear much and I hate the feeling of thick makeup that makes me feel like I don’t look like myself. But I was SO happy I decided to do a trial, because Danielle did an incredible job. She did exactly what I requested and I felt fancier but still myself. Danielle was so much fun to work with, she was so sweet and funny and listened to my requests and helped me make decisions when I got stuck or wasn’t sure about something. I have never felt prettier or more pampered than I did on my wedding day. I had so much fun getting ready with my bridesmaids and with the pretty parlor team, and everyone looked gorgeous. I’d hire them again in a heartbeat, and wish I knew how to do my own hair and makeup as well as they did it for me!"
