"The Dr accomplished nothing during the consultation visit, no X-rays or actual tests to come to a diagnosis, but the office still came up with a $5k treatment plan. They wanted my son to come back for 10 visits over a 4 month time period. They told me after the appt that don’t take my insurance, so I had to pay for the consultation out of pocket. They tried submitting the treatment plan to my insurance anyway, and kept sending it incorrectly. It got denied. Not because the treatment wasn’t covered, but because this office completed the paperwork for the claim wrong over and over. I purchased a second insurance at their direction, but then they didn’t even try to submit it to the second company. Eventually the insurance at least approved the consultation, but the office never refunded what I paid out of pocket, even after months of follow up. My experience with this office was such a stressful waste of time. I ended up just taking my son right to an ortho and they said he didn’t need any of these extensive treatments that breathe easy said he needed. He got braces and insurance covered it 100%."

"I was referred to this dentist office by my insurance company, not a good experience. They claimed me out of network which was not the cause considering my insurance company gave referral, meaning the double charged. I would get calls from the administrator at the office telling me to bring what the insurance company was sending me. Including reimbursement checks that were intended to repay my out of pocket expenses. They told me those checks were for them not for me, but the problem was they made me pay for the procedures after each one. Which was something that the insurance company told me not to do. I went in for a problem with one tooth, in need of a Root canal, they sent me to their friends which were out of network. Dr. Chrisman continued to work on my teeth, that was a big mistake. He drilled too much into a tooth and now I need a root canal on that tooth, not to mention the jaw issues he caused while working on my teeth. I waited 2 years to write a review on this dentist office. I was hoping that my feelings of this bad/expensive experience would dissipate over time, but people need to know not to go here. I have had nothing but issues with my mouth since I went to this office."

"Dr Chrisman and everyone at Breathe Easy Dentistry are friendly, knowledgeable and went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable and that my dental and TMJ issues were taken care of with little discomfort to me. They took the time to explain the procedures and what to expect. I had suffered with headaches and other pains for years with no help from other dentists. Dr Chrisman started treating my TMJ and I felt immediate relief and over the past few months have seen what it feels like to be "normal". I had let my cleanings and regular check ups go because it was so uncomfortable to go to the dentist with the pain and anxiety I was experiencing. With their help I no longer feel that level of anxiety. I can't say enough about everyone at this office!"

"My family and I have been a patients of Dr. Chrisman's ever since we moved to North County in 1999. They have been great! I've had all of my original metal fillings replaced with modern tooth toned fillings which has greatly improved my smile. My son had braces prior and now has retainers. Their new office is very clean, professional and high tech. You have the option of watching NETFLIX during your cleanings or any procedure. It makes the process much more relaxing. What more can I say? Dr. Chrisman's office is amazing! I highly recommend and encourage you to switch to his office. You will not be disappointed!"
