New Vista Dental

"August 5th 2022 visit for general check/ xray and cleaning. I chose this place based on review but misleading. Upon arriving at the front desk, receptionist was nice and notice doctor Tran was talking to her receptionist and they seem confused figuring out my insurance and co pay. That took a while and speaking foreign loudly in the room sounds like arguing Anyway, in general with my experience, I’m writing this review only bcoz i was bothered about Dr Ann Tran’s table manner. She thinks its funny to make jokes, basically her approach on saying things about my teeth, she think i have speech problem? I never heard this before. She mentioned lisp or i sound weird?but not really and laugh at it. I ask hows my teeth in general? Her reply was oh my god you need lot to do, too much stain and build up! What do you drink regularly? I replied water, coffee tea wine. Dr Ann replied oh my god all the bad stuff! Loudly in the room talking foreign to her assistant and I’m guessing also understood the foreign language. I felt so embarrassed how loud dr Tran on making negative remarks while she’s cleaning my teeth. Another thing was the X-ray process was veerry slow and old school. Snap a picture and the switch for the flash is outside the room every time. The communication of the xray tech was no good. Another thing was after my teeth cleaning dr Ann Tran ask me how i feel? I said feels good and clean. Dr Tran added remarks was you feel 1 to 2 lbs lighter on your teeth ! Her laughing. Some even personal questions not relevant to my visit , i mentioned about i have a secondary insurance from my fiancé. And she ask me is your boyfriend old? I was puzzled on that question? I said no why? Oh nothing. Anyway, i went home with questions in my head and ask my fiancee if i sound weird when i talk? Be careful out there. Thanks for reading. P.S . Dr Tran even made comment about my top long polo shirt that i wore she says it makes me look like naked.( color block of white and light blue on left and right chest) picture attached of the polo shirt i wore that day. Do i look naked? I was shocked and kept my cool and laugh. Im pretty easy person and nice to everyone who are nice to me. Ive work and been managing my own business for years talking about customer service and respect."

She exceeds in dental knowledge and will present you with a personal plan for your teeth. Her assistant is the best as well. Working as a team, they make you feel comfortable and strive to work with you and your dental needs. Dr. Ann is funny and the cleanliness in their facility gets 5 stars too."

"Dr Ann Tran has been my dentist and is a great dentist. I have had large fillings, root canal treatments, crowns and all with no pain afterwards. I fly back just to get my work done with her cause I do not live in California anymore. She has great chairside manner, loves to sing and is jolly. Her artistic skill in making my smile and teeth look great is the best I've had. I highly recommend Dr Ann Tran if you are looking for a great dentist."
