"I was going to this practice since before Dr. Bonyadi bought it and I was very happy with the previous dentist. I have been going to Dr. Bonyadi since he started, many many years ago. For the last two years it has been hard to get in to get cleanings. He uses a dentist hygienist to provide the cleanings. When I schedule appointments for cleaning, she's been out on vacation or on medical leave. It's not through my own actions that I am not receiving cleanings. They don't reschedule me until over 8-9 months later. Also, I don't like getting yearly x-rays due to concerns about radiation exposure and the staff seemed to have a problem with that. The last time I did take x-rays, Dr. Bonyadi barely looked at them so I felt like it was pointless. This coupled with how busy he always is - he barely comes in to the semi annual appointments to meet with me- it feels like he doesn't put patient care first unless you are constantly buying the products he's pushing. As I am not interested, I feel he doesn't want to check in with me about my teeth health. The final straw is the letter his office sent me dropping me as a patient due to "our inability to establish a satisfactory dentist-patient relationship". I really feel like it is because I don't want to buy his products. Nothing happened at our last appointment that would otherwise cause this to happen. He didn't even stop in to meet with me about my teeth. I could however hear him in the next room trying to sell someone something."
