"2/4/24 Finally writing review. Based on reviews I thought this place would be nice. I came in just wanting dip coat asked for one color, and the tech could not find the color. Instead of asking if I wanted a different color she picked one for me that was not even similar. When I asked about it (the number on the container didn’t match) she said oh oh the top coat will make it different! I said ok because I’m not confrontational. Once she was “done” there was dip all over my fingers the nails were only partially painted and come to find out she did dip but then covered it with gel polish to try to make it match the original color I wanted. (Still did not match I wanted a nude pink that had a slight shimmer, this was not that at all…) She only charged 45 but I was so disappointed in the whole experience it looked messy, it felt awful and just not good at all. I understand if you don’t have or can’t find (due to the place being so disorganized) the color I asked for but give the customer the chance to pick a new color don’t just decide for them and then lie about it. So upsetting do not recommend."

"Customer service and technique is SO important to me when it comes to my nails. As a former nail tech, instructor and even Director of a Nail Technology School in NY in the early 90's...I am very particular. I'm in this area on business and someone suggested this salon and recommended I only let Jeni do my nails, since clearly, as the owner, she would do the best work & provide the best customer service. NOT. Her acrylic lay was great around my cuticles, so I had high hopes! But after hurting me with her drill and rudely being unable to get the shape of my requested "square without rounded edges" nails right (even giving me a completely crooked middle nail), I finally just offered to purchase a file from her so I could fix it myself at home. So tonight, I'll be in my hotel room trying to get acrylic from under my nail and reshaping the slightly rounded tops of them. I'll be here a few more weeks but I won't be returning to this shop for service. My service before this one was at Hollywood Nails in Pleasant Hill and she was fabulous. So I guess I'll just make the 40 minute drive back to Hollywood Nails."
