"The room was clean, and the service was good. Didn't like the fact that there was no one at site. Had to call the number on the door to rent a room. No coffee pot, and no hair dryer. For a $90 room, this should be included."

"THE NEW MANAGEMENT AND STAFF Who in just a very few months have done more for this place than I have ever seen ! The customer service is better than the 4 star renaissance hotel in Nashville . This is why give it a 5 star .This place has had a bad reputation due to previous management and staff. I liked staying there because the rooms are huge!!!!!! While checking In . was talking to the new owner and was impressed by the changes I noticed immediately upon walking in the lobby . Nice decor . Warm and inviting . I live out of state and hadn’t been back in months so I was surprised . The owner told me they were on a mission to save this place. I had mentioned we were in town to drop off kids to see family on spring break and that it was our anniversary and we would finally have alone time . When I got the key to the room . Happy anniversary was written on it. When we opened the door ... a bottle of wine was on ice and they had gotten fresh roses for the bed . I was so emotional and touched by this ! Never before have I ever received this kind of treatment. Not even in The 4 or 5 star hotels in Nashville . The attention to detail and how she actually made my anniversary special . I will remember and cherish this always . We’re keeping the wine bottle and room key envelope as a memento. That was my best experience but Also .... the Bar is actually open which I have never seen in 10 years and it was thriving ! I didn’t have the chance to go in but just by the business they were getting I definitely will go next time . So as I head back to Indiana and write this review. I want people to understand big and bold changes are being made . Don’t go on past experiences and it’s reputation when choosing a motel is stay in. You would be missing out on great service from Amazing people. I feel that if this place could ever be the greatest motel in the area . It will be now with the new owners . Management housekeeping and even maintenance guys wished us a safe journey home multiple times . I almost cried leaving ! We will be back in the summer to drop off the kiddos again and I look forward to seeing the staff . Thanks and god bless you all❤️"

"Great hotel for the price. Rooms are HUGE! The staff is awesome. From what I understand they had some problems with the previous employees but are making a slow come back with lots of improvements! Keep up the good work! Look forward to staying again soon!"
