About the Business
Lord of Life Preschool, located in Memphis, Tennessee, is a ministry of Lord of Life Lutheran Church. Established in 2001, our school is licensed by the state of Tennessee Department of Human Services and holds a Three-Star Rating. We believe in the importance of spiritual development in young children, providing a nurturing environment where they can grow socially, emotionally, intellectually, physically, and spiritually.
At Lord of Life Preschool, we focus on teaching the whole child through a play-based approach to learning. We introduce Kindergarten readiness skills to even our youngest learners, using their interests to encourage a love for learning. Our curriculum includes activities in Gross and Fine Motor skills, Literacy, Math, and Science, as well as weekly classes in Music, Library, Chapel, and PE for each grade.
We offer multiple options to meet the needs of families, with a 10-month academic calendar and extended care available for an additional cost. Our school day runs from 8:15 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with Before Care from 7:30 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. and After Care from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
