Hilton Garden Inn Santa Barbara/Goleta

"Just checked out, worst experience with Hilton ever. I asked the lady at the dinning area I’m a diamond member and if I’ll have free breakfast. She stared me and said I need to pay $19 for each person, and she didn’t mention any food credit in our conversation. We bought bottled water yesterday and this morning, I asked the lady at front desk if we can have two bottled water, she told me they usually don’t offer this but still gave me two bottled water, like this should not be something I asked about and she was doing me a big favor. While when I stayed at other Hilton hotels, bottled water, beverages and snacks were sent to my room daily for free. I asked the front desk people yesterday we need two separate beds (one for me and one for my child), and were told queen beds rooms were sold out, but they can add an extra bed with $25 charge. When one of the ladies at the front desk sent the bed to my room, I said thank you to her, she didn’t even respond and just walked out of my room. I don’t know what’s wrong with this Hilton hotel but won’t choose it in the future."

"This is the first Hilton Garden Inn hotel I stayed where they didn’t offer any breakfast, which is a shame. I used Hilton’s services before in Europe and also in Asia, but breakfast was always included, especially for the exorbitant price they are asking for a room. They didn’t offer any shuttle to the University either, nor they did to the nearby airport."

"People at front desk were nice and helpful however this place do need to invest in few carpet cleaners. Lots of old stains on the carpet and I bet some of the area (especially ceiling and corners) they never cleaned once."

"Great service, great location close to the UCSB campus and close to the airport. Comfortable beds, spacious rooms. Quiet. The rooftop bar is a great place to relax in the evening."
