"I have driven past this place for decades, always thinking "this place must be good, it's always busy." Took the plunge and visited for breakfast, and our decision to do so was spot on. As soon as I walked in I could tell the food would be good given the amazing smell. We were quickly seated and a server approached with utensils and my cup very soon had fresh brewed coffee. Had a hard time choosing what to have for breakfast, the menu is quite extensive. Decided on chicken fried steak, two over easy eggs, and hash browns. Food came quickly and coffee flowed without skipping a beat. My son ordered french toast with a side of scrambled eggs and bacon. Both meals were abundant. We left very satisfied and agreed to return to sample other delicious food (possibly a frittata)"

"Perry's is a great place to go if you're hungry! The food and service are outstanding, but it's not someplace to go on a Saturday morning if you're in a hurry, because there will probably be a wait. The wait is absolutely worth it though. They offer a great variety of traditional American diner fare, as well as a lengthy list of Mexican breakfast options. The food is plentiful, delicious, and super-fast to be served. Coffee refills are frequent, and there are plenty of condiments and butter."

"Perry’s Cafe is in the heart of Old Towne San Diego, CA. Love this place. All time favorite breakfast spot in SD! If you are on travel and you would like an authentic 1950’s style dinner this is your place. They do have lunch items but I’ve only had the breakfast. French toast and pancakes are ENORMOUS!! Definitely enough to share with leftovers."

"Decided to just go have breakfast Va cooking it myself and what a great decision on a Sunday morning. Went out with my date and we had the chicken fried steaks and country fried steak with hash brown and or home fries as you can see in the picture I like hot sauce, lol. But overall great vibe and the food was amazing, finger licking, didn’t take long and best of all lots of parking available. Will share pictures."
