"The staff there were not really well trained in how to handle a return, which is ok because I've been new before too. Though when I tried to help them with what other Sketcher stores usually do for returns, the two girls behind the counter called me a liar by responding with "no, that's not how they do it". Even then I figured ok, maybe it's a mall policy thing, so I'll go to the store I bought them; figured I would stop at this one though just because of it being close by work, I could handle this errand efficiently and then go to work. For future returns, girls, if you don't know how to do something, I would recommend calling a nearby store for assistance. Or it's ok to simply say I'm sorry, I can't accept the return for such and such reason. Giving attitude at the counter seemed to be a defensive measure but not necessary."

"My wife and I went to the Skechers at Sun Valley Mall during the evening of 10-10-23 to look for some shoes. We waited for several minutes while the cashier, a large female, was laughing and joking with three young males about her same age. As far as I could tell, no transactions were being conducted. No one else was in the store. We walked around the store and it was obvious we were waiting to talk to someone. While waiting, another female employee came out from the back area. She looked at us and returned to the back area after a few minutes. It was plain to see we were being ignored. After several more minutes with zero acknowledgement from any of the employees, we decided to stop wasting our time and went someplace else. I can't understand how socializing with three guys was more of a priority than doing one's job. It definitely reflects on the lack of management and in the end, cost the company a sale. I will never, ever, go back there again, nor will the rest of my family."

"Whoever the Manager was for Skechers on Friday (June 2nd) around 2pm, ponytail and heavy tattoos, was the WORST. Barely helping anyone, didn’t want to do her job, and had a major attitude problem with me and several other customers. I took my business somewhere else. Whoever made her manager, let alone employable, should be disappointed. We all have bad days but she was even giving attitude to a child saying “its not our problem we don’t have your size” like geeze?? Is compassion just non existent to her?"

"The shoes are very comfortable but the service was lacking so much, 3 women chatting rather than seeing if we needed help, I had to ask a few times for assistance, and the only woman that helped us seemed not very helpful and almost bothered, their training was lacking so much, no customer service there, however a young man showed up from break or lunch but he didn't only help us he also helped other clients at the same time! I kept praising his willingness to provide assistance while the other 3 just watched... we bought the shoes but would be nice to see someone earning some commission on his hard work. I definitely would not go back!"
