"Stayed here for one night on a trip to visit Hearst Castle. The staff were friendly and the location was great. It's right across the street from the ocean, close to some good restaurants, and a short drive away from the Cambria Main Street or a little further drive to Hearst Castle. The room was nice enough with a cofee bar, mini fridge and microwave, and a "fireplace" to heat the room (it's a heater designed to look like a fireplace). There is no AC but the windows open for fresh ocean air. Windows are covered by shutters and no curtains so there was some light peeking through in the morning; bring an eye mask if you need total darkness to sleep in."

"A quick getaway during the off-season, which made the prices more attractive. To be right across the street feom Moonstone Beach was a treat, and the lean, quiet atmosphere was just what we needed. Even the light rain made the walk on the nearby boardwalk a different kind of cozy experience. Staff was pleasant and more personal, and they included a delivered breakfast to our room in the price."

"Location, location,  location!! Perfectly situated along Moonstone beach with stunning sunset views.  Spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated room with ocean view(even from the "back" room)!  The bed was very comfortable with multiple pillow types (down, natural organic fill Avocado style, synthetic fill, etc) perfect for side sleepers! Staff was very courteous and provided excellent restaurant recommendations and site seeing/excursion suggestions. In room breakfast delivered timely and was very tasty! Overall, a great value!!"

"My wife and I had an awesome stay this week here. We've stayed at their sister inn. The Sand Pebble, and the Blue Dolphin Inn is just as wonderful. This is our sixth stay on Moonstone Beach and these two inns are the best. Great customer service, beautiful clean rooms, and they deliver a pretty hefty egg breakfast to your door. We stayed in the double queen oceanfront room (Sea of Japan) and it had a great view of the ocean from the second floor. Great bathroom with a tub and separate walk in shower. Also had a Keurig coffee machine, microwave, and fridge. They even provided two bottles of water, chocolate chip cookies, and plates with silverware too. Pretty decent wifi, was able to use our Firestick without issues. Good thing we had wifi because both our TMobile phones didn't get any cellular service here. If you are TMobile customer, be prepared to use wifi calling and have a good VPN client. Parking was good and a nice touch offering clean rags and a squeegee to clean your windshield. Just had a great time and definitely coming back here or the The Sand Pebble the next time we come up to Cambria."
