"Located on Moonstone Beach Drive, this restaurant was right next door to our hotel and a very short walk, super convenient. We were happily surprised with how good everything we had for dinner was. I almost wanted to go back to get the pesto shrimp pasta the other nights of our trip, but figured we should try other restaurants in the area. We didn't wait to be seated for a table of two at all on a Friday night around 5 pm. The service was very attentive and classy. Very much recommend!"

"Good location, friendly service, but a bit disappointed with the food. Expected it to be more quality and tasty due to its prime location but the expectation didn’t met reality. Note: They don’t accept reservation, it’s only walk-in, there might be a queue of customers waiting to be seated. Parking behind the restaurant is limited as well."

"I ate here once almost two years ago during the summer and had to come back again when I was in town to visit Hearst Castle again. In the summer it was very busy and I had to wait an hour to be seated, but I figured the food must be good for so many people to be eating here. I had the calamari and clam chowder in a bread bowl and found both to be delicious. This time there were far fewer people since it's winter, and when I arrived at 5pm, there was no wait. I was immediately seated at a table by the window, so I got to enjoy the view of the ocean while eating. There's also a pretty large outdoor patio area with open and covered seating and heat lamps for those who'd prefer to eat outdoors. I had the clam chowder again because it was so good last time, but I tried a different appetizer, the coconut shrimp, and enjoyed that too (especially the sweet and spicy dipping sauce served with the shrimp). It's a little in the pricey side, but the staff is friendly, the views of the ocean (literally across the street) can't be beat, and the food is very yummy."

"We were very disappointed in this place. I ordered what I thought were local oysters, but they came from the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland. They were very tired from the long trip. Everything we ordered tasted like it had been frozen and thawed. My crab legs were dried out and needed a lot of butter to get them down. Not many options in this location, but I would pass on this one."

"We stayed in a hotel very close to this place and we found it while walking the wooden ramp by the ocean. We waited about 45minutes for a table and it was well worth it. Outside was cold and foggy and inside warm and cozy. The service was great. The food very good and the view outside at the ocean, absolutely priceless."
