"We were looking for this place, and asked a restaurant on Ocean where it was. The guy said, "It's a dive bar, you may want to go to X instead." No, guy, we were looking for a dive bar and Sade's was perfect. Fair warning, it's cash only. The first bartender made a so-so Old Fashioned but the second bartender knocked it out of the park! (Both used Four Roses.) We really enjoyed our conversation with the regulars, who can tell you a lot about Carmel and everything that's going on there. This place is too small to hide in a corner, so expect to interact with people while you're there."
