"I love the atmosphere of this place it’s the best. I have only ever visited twice and my experiences were completely different. Upon sitting, my friends and I were greeted by a waitress with a sour tone. Then she asked to see IDs (we are all in our 20s so it’s understandable) and then she asks to keep a card on file. Now this is where I start to suspect ageism since the first time (same size party) I went we were not asked to keep a card on file and we were all in our 20s as well. There was another party (same amount of people) that was seated next to us that got their orders taken first and were not asked to provide a card to keep on file. This party was full of older men. Now I thought it was quite odd of the waitress to ask for our card but not theirs. The sour attitude remained throughout our stay up until we were helped by a different waitress when we asked for the check. Also not to mention that my second drink took well over 20 minutes to arrive and the restaurant was not that packed. I love the environment of this restaurant and it is genuinely unique. The drinks were okay but I don’t think they’re too expensive. It’s just sad that the waitress had to treat us with that attitude simply based on our ages (I assume) we still left a tip out of good gesture but I don’t think i’ll be back simply based on that waitress. We went there to have fun so that was the last thing we expected to receive."

"Fun decor, slightly nostalgic like a piece of Pirates themed ride for adults. Beware: drinks are very strong (and the liquor is not blended in well to the mixers). Food is just okay but not many choices for dietary restrictions. Staff is friendly but it’s often difficult to get their attention so wait times to order or receive your food/drinks can be long. Overall: it’s fun to check out, maybe for one drink, but it’s not my first recommendation for most people."

"If you're in Northern California and happen to find yourself in Walnut Creek, and if you enjoy an awesome tiki bar that does escapism well, definitely check this place out! There is something for everyone within the walls of this location. The drinks are delicious and well balanced, as fresh juices and syrups are prepared in-house. This definitely improves the flavor of a cocktail. The food is delicious, I highly recommend the wings, you will not be disappointed. The overall look of the bar is just awesome! The owners have definitely placed their love for the tiki culture within the walls of this location, as various artists are represented and various pieces displayed. The staff here is nothing less than amazing and very helpful, making sure your visit is amazing in and of itself! Tiki folks, definitely place this spot on your list. However, everyone will enjoy this spot! This location is first come, first serve (no reservations). It is best to arrive early, as this location has a tendency to get busy and fill up quickly. Parking is located in the structure next to the location. Parking is free in the upper levels. Definitely stop in, and you'll find yourself craving a return visit!"

"Came for a birthday dinner. The ambiance was so nice. The drinks and food were all amazing. I can't wait to go back! They have specials where certain drinks and dishes are lit on fire table side. The music isn't blasting so you can have a conversation without yelling. Staff were all nice and attentive. Small restaurant with major offerings! Definitely glad we came!"
