"Why doesn’t every library have a cafe!? Wonderful little cafe where the friendly owner serves customers cheerfully. It has in and outdoor seating and fair prices. It’s right next to Civic Park in Walnut Creek, so you can also take your purchases and picnic in the park."
"Never order anything from this cafe. Went here with my handicap brother and the owner asked him to leave. Said he was taking up space for other customers eventhough the place was empty. Extreme rude and disrespectful, also saw flies on the food. Zero stars."
"i work across the street and was in a hurry, went in to get some late lunch. I ordered the club sandwich, got a coke and a small container of mac and cheese. $17 for this is a bit excessive. Not to mention the club sandwich had no bacon and the guy that made the sandwich didn't wear gloves or wash his hands, and he was at the cash register where he was handling dirty money...gross. With so many other options at better pricing there will be no return to this place for food ever again. My bad reviews will no doubt make it thru the office of 50 people."
"Wondered in to this Peets from the park with my granddaughter. They were so nice and accommodating to us. Very sweet staff. I had an iced mocha and a bottled lemonade. Lots of great choices of snacks. I will return again because I promised my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter and she remembers everything ."
"This cafe is in the library but is operated separately than the library itself. Has earlier hours than library for both opening and closing. Friendly staff. Very clean. Variety of items to choose from at fair prices."
