"Only 1 server working for our 1/2 of the restaurant. Richard was fantastic and did a great job all things considered. Food was OK, not worth the cost or the hype. Definitely not the place we thought it would be. I'll stick with Fats in Sac."

"Friendly staff. Dim lights atmosphere. Menu are quite expensive. We ordered ordered shrimp eggrolls. Came in 3 small flat rolls. It tasted ok but can't really taste the shrimp. We ordered that hotpot with beef for protein. When it came, it had more on veggies than the beef. The 2 types of broth were good enough. Then, lastly, we had that garlic shrimp. That one is good, mild on spiciness, had few soft garlic. Shrimps were not overcooked. Tender and easy to peel. Overall, we were just ok with this restaurant."

"Nice location and good internal design. Prices are high, but it was expected as this town is a tourist destination. The servers were good, but the chef disappointed me. I started with a selection of very expensive sashimi: fluke, shad, red snapper, sea eel, and freshwater eel. Except for the extraorbitary price, there was nothing special. The main reason for our visit was wagyu beef. I asked for medium-rare and got something closer to medium. The chef should take into account that the steak was sliced and served on a hot cast iron dish, which extended the actual cooking period; thus, the steak was much closer to medium than medium-rare. I would say that it was the most boring wagyu steak I ever ate. If you are celebrating anything or simply like deserts, I would recommend a chocolate sphere—a very impressive and great-looking desert (sorry, but no photos for deserts, although the sphere is worth a small video). The selection of sorbets was OK, but nothing special."

"Fantastic service. We had small plates for dinner and loved all of them. Soup dumplings, spring rolls, duck tacos, black cod, green beans."

"Food was tasty. One of my friends ordered the lobster dish. It was $75. The portion was good for the price. We sat at the bar and received great service from the bar staff. The scallion pancake was not a pancake it looked like a spring roll."
