"I visited this store on November 7th, 2023, at around 4 p.m., and unfortunately, my experience with the staff was less than pleasant. In particular, I found the managers, often referred to as "shift lead," to be quite impolite. The only exception was the cashier, who was courteous and made an effort to assist me. However, one of the employees, a heavier-set lady, displayed rudeness by making derogatory comments about coupon users. I was using a coupon myself and had simply asked for clarification on how it worked, without any impoliteness. Her remarks about coupon users being rude and trying to cheat the system were surprising and unwarranted. To add to the disappointing experience, the store also seemed to attract homeless individuals who were soliciting money right at the entrance. Unfortunately, this has left me with the impression that I won't be returning to this location in the future due to the unfriendly staff and the uncomfortable atmosphere created by these factors."

"I'm usually buying from this location because it is close to my house. But my last visit was not great at all. On Saturday 4/18/20, my family and I had to restock on some groceries and other items. In the Dollar General Store Ad, it shows products on sale, one of the items was a Bic Women's Disposable Razor on sale for $3 but it was still priced in the store for $6. I brought it up to the cashier when I went to check out and I showed them the ad that it was the same item I was buying and everything matched, from the packaging to the name of the product, but they would not honor the sale price. I asked to speak with the manager as to why they would not honor their own ad and they said it might be a different product even though everything matched and was the same item. The manager would not come out from the back to even speak to me in person. Usually this store is good at providing great customer service but that day I felt that they weren't even trying to hear me out, especially if I'm going to buy the item along with others items. I have contacted corporate on this matter"

"I feel for the staff! because the store is stocked well, But over flow merchandise is in the isle and you have too miss certain items when your shopping as a customer ("Note to Corporate") these people are not machines, their human beings you make your money by human beings that come and shop at your stores,so have some compassion about your workers. A former 3rd key and purple dot worker that knows how we got and get treated.
