"What has happened to this place?! I went to 5 different departments and only TWO employees acknowledged my presence. I used to work at Nordstrom in 09 and boy, that was one of the first things we were taught, always acknowledge and help the customer. I’m sticking to online shopping."

"Rough! We came in visiting from another state. We spent a lot of time in men’s shoes, men’s clothing, and women’s active. In the men’s departments, there were lots of employees standing talking to each other and we didn’t get greeted or helped once. No one even cared we were looking for items. We felt frustrated by that. In women’s active, what seemed like a manager was on the phone with likely a finicky customer, but she spent the entire time we were searching and ready to buy and jacket on the phone with her back turned from customers. She waved her hands in frustration when the customer before us got in line so after waiting behind a customer for help, after 10 min we went to beauty to get help. Beauty (fragrances, women’s) went above and beyond to help us. And a lady in kids was the most kind to us, helping us find what we were looking for, greeting us right away, and was very kind. Thank you to beauty and kids, and please talk to your staff in men’s shoes, men’s clothing. To greet customers, especially if they’re on the floor for a while looking for items."
