"After waiting for 15 minutes, I got connected on the phone and then the Hayward Tire Center hung up on me after I started explaining my situation for only 5 seconds. Since I can't get through calling, I'm going to Foster City instead - they actually picked up and ask if they can put you on hold. After only about 2-3 minutes on hold, the representative answered all my questions very well."

"Made an appt at 9am. Started lining up at 9am sharp. Waited 40 minutes in line and when it was finally my turn, I asked how come there’s not a separate line for appts. The guy in the front said he did call out before 9am if there’s anyone with appt to come up, but no one really came up so he assumed everyone in line was walk in. 1) I am a punctual person and I arrived at 858am for my 9am appt, and I for sure did not hear him make that announcement. So maybe he announced it at 855? 2) why didn’t he make a second announcement at 9am or 905am? 3) he said nothing can be done and I have to wait more than an hour just for tire rotation. That means the earliest I could leave for my 9am appt is 1045 just for a tire rotation. This is a complete waste of time, lack of professionalism and poor management. Costco Tire, you can do better. (If you have an appt, skip the line and just walk up to the front even though no one called)"

"The last 3 times I came here to service my tires went smooth and thorough job. I had to fix a tire that had 2 nails, replaced 3 tire sensors, and I had to repair a flat tire. Happy with each repair because they did a good job. PROS -Super easy to book online appointments -Bobby gave OUTSTANDING service and was extremely helpful with everything. He was patient, professional, gave me options, and made everything stress free. The other guys at the front desk were also very nice and helpful. -excellent warranty on tires"

"Terrible. All sales and ZERO service. Got my tires changed about 5 months back, at Hayward Costco. Recently one tire started leaking fast, so I called them to see if I could get it repaired quickly. It was an emergency. Impossible to get though to tire center on phone. One time I did, they said there were 3 people in line before me and I was put on hold. I had to disconnect after an hour, as they never came back on line. So I drove over at 7PM, while they close at 8:30PM. The person at the tire center counter brushed off any possibility of repairing the leak the same day. Apparently, they were about to close. OK, so I said how about tomorrow? Ah, if you want an appointment, it will be a week from now! If you want to do a walk-in, come tomorrow morning and line up. The line apparently often starts at 7AM while they open at 9AM. And if you are in line behind 10-15 people, you are out of luck. They only take 10-15 walk ins a day. Your turnaround time for walk ins is 5-8 hours, if you happen to get into the walk-in list. Throughout the interaction I tried to impress upon the representative that this was critical. My tire was requiring filling up every 6 hours to avoid going flat. He didn't seem to care. Make an appointment for a week out, or take your chances tomorrow early morning and hope the line is not too long. Who cares if you have to spend hundreds on Uber during that period, including, at the least, back and forth during the 5-8 hour repair window that should take 20-30 min? After all they are doing it free as part of the 'service' that comes with buying the tires from them! Meanwhile you take the inconvenience and the ride share costs. Free service for buying the tires like all tire outlets do? You will pay for an extra couple of tires while you wait for the 'free service'. And they don't even seem to care. Avoid this place for tires."
