"This store has reasonable quality products at affordable prices. It often has sales. The staff seem to be involved and motivated. I appreciate that some of the staff have been trained to give Asian style customer service. In particular, a couple of the male clerks carefully handed me my receipt with two hands and gave me my bag with the handles facing me. This is the kind of detailed customer service I would get in Japan. It makes me feel valued as a customer."

"Not planning to buy anything, only went into the store so my husband could check out the sales. A few clearance items caught my eye. I was very frustrated that the dressing rooms were closed and you couldn’t even try on shoes! I was ready to walk out on principal alone, and then DENISE shared with me that she was just following the company policy and calmly gave me some ideas about how trying shoes on at home is actually much better. She shared her own experiences with me. She also reminded me of the amazing return policy. She wasn’t affected at all by my negativity and her amazing kindness had a profound effect on me. I let go of my resistance and bought 2 pair and some clothes and now I’m home and I love them! I almost walked away and I’m so grateful for her patience and compassion. I’ve got two new pairs of shoes that I absolutely love that I would have passed up on otherwise! Not to mention what a great deal I got on them! Two pairs of shoes, a pair of pants and three tops for $120! DENISE, thank you! You made my day! And I won’t be coming back to return anything, but I might stop in just to give you a hug! Darn, can’t do that either! But you are a gem!"

"Eddie Bauer, Outlets at San Clemente, is great place to shop for outdoor apparel. Its location is easy to get to when you take the exit from I-5. This outlet mall is definitely the nicest, cleanest, easy access outlet mall anywhere in Southern California. This best part is the free parking. I have shopped Eddie Bauer for years and was happy to find one in Southwest California. They make durable, well fitting outdoor wear and gear. If you happen to order online, you can make your return at this store. But, it is clear to me that there are always better deals in the outlet store. The customer service is outstanding. The shop is kept clean, the clothes are sized in order and the store has a very modern open feel. If you don't see your size, the service associates are more than happy to look in their stock room and call another store, if necessary, to help you out. If you want to shop for great clothing, shop at this Eddie Bauer."
