"Definitely 100% Tex Mex and not a San Diego style Taco Shop at all. I walked in asked for a Machaca Plate they were like we don't have Machaca. Then I was like what do you have for Breakfast Burritos and they were like we don't have Breakfast Burritos. So then I said I'll take a Beef Enchilada Plate and dude says we don't have those either and I was really confused. Finally I found Surf and Turf Giant Burro on their menu and I was like ok, it was huge and I wasn't disappointed, definitely no shortage of rice and cabbage inside. And I tried the 99¢ fish tacos too"

"What a great place. I spent about 12 bucks and was stuffed when I left. I had a drink too so they really just do a great job. They were busy and honestly seem understaffed. Not their fault if they are having trouble finding employees. Other than that, one of the best places I've been at in a while."

"There is so much to say about this amazing gem of a place. It's very unassuming, but the food here hits the spot. Seriously, we have gone here once a week since we decided to try Taco Taco. We can't seem to get past the fish tacos and the fish and fries. The breading on their fish is amazing and fried to perfection. The fries are delicious as well. To match the great fish tacos is the price. $.99 if you dine there and $1.50 to go. Seriously, you can't lose coming here."

"Stopped by here on a whim after a long hard day, feeling pretty wiped out and just blah. I was greeted by Alex at the bar who was so sweet and welcoming, just the right amount of engagement for someone as tired as me. She asked if I wanted a margarita and I couldn’t say no. She seemed excited that I agreed and I loved her energy! So I got a watermelon margarita, ordered some food and talked with her a little. She was just what I needed in that moment, a friendly smile, not too much talk but excellent service. The marg hit the spot, the food was good, the owner came over and checked in, also super friendly and welcoming. I was feeling so glad I stopped by, a little rejuvenated and a lot happier than when I went in. And then I got the bill. I got some chips, more than enough even for 2 so I shared with the lady next to me. A carne asada fries, also at least enough for 2 and that drink. My bill was under $15, I nearly fell off my chair. The time I spend there was invaluable to me because I needed a moment of respite. I would have gladly paid so much more. I will definitely be back, thank you to the friendly faces and kind voices I met there!"
