"The crepes were delicious; however, the overall cleanliness of the area was lacking. We encountered small flies flying around, and the utensils were not sufficiently clean. Definitely not a place I would try again."

"If you're not familiar w/ Old Poway Park, the surrounding area is filled w/ many non-chain, casual dining eateries, mircropubs, and small retail shops including dog groomers and dance studios, After taking our dogs for grooming at Bark & Collar (which I've also reviewed) my wife and I decided to try Wholly Crepe. It's typical of most of the eateries here, w/ a small but roomy dining area w/ tables that usually seat 2-4 people. It was a warm day in Poway but the (2) ceiling fans running kept things cool. It also helped that the eatery faces west so there wasn't direct sunlight streaming through the windows and heating up the room. The attached pictures show an empty dining area but after my wife and I ordered, there was a wave of people that entered and filled the room. Listening in on how these patrons ordered, I'd say 1/2 were completely familiar w/ the menu and were regulars, or at least dined at Wholly Crepe before which attests to the popularity of the establishment. There were (2) counter people and only one chef but the food for all the orders were brought out in a timely manner. Overall the food was savory and flavorful and the pricing appropriate for the serving size. The employees were friendly and courteous. Another star for having a clean restroom and not something that you might find on the Fear Factor game show."

"Came to try this place for the first time when we came to the farmer's market. Got a savory crepe called the kitchen sink, which was okay. A little bland. Also got a sweet crepe with strawberry and banana. It was pretty good. The service was good."

"Small Breakfast/Brunch crepe place with great food and customer service. The Elmer's chicken sandwich was delicious with the side salad as it balanced out the saltiness of the sandwhich. The sweet crepes are delicious, definitely a crepe restaurant. Slightly chewy and tasty crepe. Aside from that, the cheese steak sandwhich was okay, wouldn't get it again. The pesto savory crepe wasn't good due to the Pesto Mayo sauce, which was very strong. It took a while to get the food as it was a counter ordering place, so if you're in a group of more than 3 you'll get the food separately. Would recommend and come back for sweet crepes and sandwiches."
