"Solid and super affordable beer and burger spot. You can get a burger, fries, and beer combo for $12 (can’t find this price anywhere nowadays, especially in La Jolla). The truffle parmesan fries side was extremely flavorful, definitely worth the $2 upgrade. Burger was okay, patty was cooked to my liking but I prefer a little bit more seasoning. Waitress was super nice and friendly. They have a small kitchen and not a lot of staff, so expect to wait for a little while. Overall 4.5/5"
"First time coming here. Parking is always a bit difficult here, but it was well worth the hassle. I wanted to order several things, but opted for just a lamb gyro. It wasn't the traditional carved gyro meat, but rather a patty. Don't let that discourage you however. It was so good and so perfect. At $12, prices are decent. Includes delicious fries that taste like potatoes. Includes free bottled water, but I didn't partake in that. Can't wait to go back and try the many other items."
"The big shoulder (The Hamburger) is popular, and a bottle of water is on the house. A hamburger patty is really thick and tasty. Prices are cheap, and food's quality is good."
"WOW! Stopped in while visiting for work in the area. Owner greeted me, took order and made my burger to perfection. Price is absolutely insane amazing.. cannot find food like this for $10 anywhere. Honestly a burger like this on the East coast would be pushing $20.. by itself. Here you get a burger, fries and beer for $10. Definitely a stop to make if you're remotely close for a top quality burger. They do have both indoor and outdoor dining as well. Hot dogs really look amazing too.. wish I had more time to give them a try."
