"extremely rude customer service. I wanted to make a return on a purchase I had made in less than 24 hours. The sales associate didn't even bother looking at the receipt and refused to accept a return because there was a tiny scuff on the boots I hadn't worn because they did not fit. Gave me the worst attitude and didn't bother to hear me out and stated i "Go to Oxnard to make a return maybe they'll say yes there" will be returning to speak to the manager. Thousand Oaks happily accepted my return (:"

"They have a great selection of clothes and sales items, but the staff is very rude. Several employees walking around pretending to be busy, but they said the fitting rooms will be closed because one employee is going on lunch. When i asked to go in a few people were already trying on clothes, but I was told it was closed. I understand being understaffed, but they wouldn't even give a time when the fitting rooms would open again. Employees at the register also have an attitude for no reason."

"Omg, the service! Don't get me started. Every single time I have gone to check out, the workers act like I'm not there. They chat among themselves, look at their phones, there was even one time a worker's friend came in and she talked to her for about 5 minutes till I eventually decided to leave because they do not care what so ever. There's no staff on the floor and it's always very very messy. It has a nice selection though and a pretty big part of the store is dedicated to sale items (although they're mostly all ugly)."

"I took my 16 year old granddaughter to by her birthday gift. She picked out 2 dresses and a top. Since we could not try it on in the store, when we got home we found it was too small. In addition there were several smalle dots on the dress which could not be seen in the store. I attempted to take it back the next day. The clerk was quite rude and would not make an exchange stating they do not take back damaged goods. I explained that I did not damage the dress it was sold that way. She just said it was policy and accused me of damaging the dress ! This is a policy which is unacceptable. I will NEVER shop at Forever 21 nor will my family! I have never been treated so shabbily and with such disrespect."

"Just wanted to go get a hair band real quick. Went in, the sales said we are closed. I asked what time you close? I just need grab a hair band real quick. She replied as “now”... I was like it’s 8:50, kinda weird time to close down... she is like yeah... I understand people want to go home. But also remember, you represent a brand ..."
